Once installed, the user can have a choice of the following ways of saving electricity:

Storing DC power from a solar panel

Storing AC power from the grin when it is at its cheapest (Economy 7 in UK)

Feeding AC power back into the grid thereby reducing monthly bills.

The inverter & battery pack are stored within a steel cabinet that can be fitted to the wall. In addition, a Wi-Fi or GSM transmitter can be fitted in order to let the user remotely monitor the system and programme it, to optimise power generation. The Parity Inverter can load-shift automatically between the batteries, home utilities and the mains grid. It also serves as a UPS so that power can still be supplied when grid breakdowns occur. The Sunsynk-Link aims to meet partially or fully, the energy consumption needs of an average four bedroom house. The Sunsynk-Link encases all the array into the 12kW battery pack. elements of a PV system in an easy-to-install package and included in the inverter is an integrated MPPT controller that finds the voltage value at which solar panel delivers maximum power. If it gets cloudy or rains the MPPT regulator adapts the voltage of the panels to a new peak performance point. The casing is IP65 which means it can be installed both indoors and outdoors and secured in place with stainless steel bolts.
